Academic degree: Candidate of Biological Sciences (1998). Theme of thesis: Butterflies (Lepidoptera, Diurna) of the Western Amur Region. Ecological and zoogeographic review.

Academic title: Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology (2000).

From 1992 to 2015 – in various positions at the Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University (BSPU): assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor of the Department of Zoology; Head of the Department of Zoology, Head of the Department of Biology and Biology Education Techniques, Assistant to the First Vice-Rector, Director of the Center for Integrated Research, First Vice-Rector – Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Ecology and Systematics of Plants and Animals BSPU.

Research interests: entomology, ecology, systematics and geography of Lepidoptera insects. Specialist in butterflies (Lepidoptera, Diurna) and pyralides moth (Lepidoptera, Pyraloidea).
